It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of founding partner, dear friend and colleague, Tony O’Connor, peacefully at home with his loving family on Saturday 19th September.
Diagnosed with Motor Neuron Disease just over a year ago, Tony battled this debilitating disease with the good humour, dignity and strength of character which had driven him to the very heights of his profession, in a career which spanned nearly fifty years.
Tony will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him over the years, not least those of us who had the privilege of working with him on a day to day basis – an old school ‘bon vivant, raconteur and mischievous rascal’, Tony truly lived by the mantra of ‘work hard and play harder’ and the world is a poorer and less interesting place without him.
